Progresso Village & Flagler Village Asphalt Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with FG Construction to resurface various roads within the Progresso Village and Flagler Village neighborhoods. This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying new pavement markings

Construction will begin on Monday, May 11, 2026, and is expected to be completed on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Work will take place seven days per week between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. New permanent pavement markings will be applied with temporary lane closures in approximately 30 days. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along the roads within the project limits during work hours.
  
• One lane in each direction of the roads within the project limits will be closed during work hours.
  
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
  
• Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
