City of Columbia to host Let’s Talk Local discussion for Ward 1

The City of Columbia is hosting its monthly Let's Talk Local discussion from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25 in the Friends Room of the Daniel Boone Regional Library, 100 W. Broadway.

This month's discussion will feature Ward 1 Council Member Valerie Carroll, who will focus on developing strong neighborhood communities. City staff will also be present to answer questions.

The City encourages residents to bring questions to the event or submit them in advance on the BeHeard Ask City Council page. Council members and City staff will try to answer these as time allows at the meeting. Answers to questions submitted online will also be posted on the BeHeard website following the meeting.

These meetings are open to all residents from any ward. Refreshments will be provided. The City is asking attendees to register at the Let's Talk Local: Ward 1 (January) Registration page.

Residents can find which ward they reside in at the City's Wards Map page.
