Road Closures and Limited Parking at Peoria County Courthouse Starting October 20

Street Closures

The 300 block of Main St, the 200 block of Main St, and the 300 block of Hamilton Blvd will be closed to through traffic during the day and opened in the evening. Adams St and Jefferson Ave will be open to traffic. A map of the area is attached.

The City of Peoria's One Way Two Way Conversion Projecton Adams and Jefferson may also impact downtown traffic and parking availability on those streets.

Courthouse Open

All offices within the Peoria County Courthouse will remain open for business. The entrance to the Courthouse is on Jefferson St, and all sidewalks around the Courthouse square will remain open for pedestrian use.

Many departments have developed alternative means to an in-person interaction to assist the public with their county needs. You may be able to complete your business online or over the phone without having to make a trip. A list of department phone numbers is available at https://www.peoriacounty.gov/directory.aspx.

Street closures and parking restrictions are subject to change. Any updated information will be posted at https://www.peoriacounty.gov/1333/Grayson-Trial-Information.
