Rapp Sworn in for 11th Term in Pennsylvania House of Representatives

Jan. 07, 2025

HARRISBURG - Rep. Kathy L. Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) was sworn in today for her 11th term as state representative of the 65th Legislative District. She has been selected to a fourth term as Republican chair of the House Health Committee.

"I'm ready to get back to work representing the good people in Warren, Forest and Crawford counties," Rapp said. "The Health Committee takes on some of the most complex, divisive issues we face in the House, and I remain committed to fighting for what's right for Pennsylvanians."

Rapp is returning to serve as Republican co-chairman of the bipartisan Pennsylvania House Pro-Life Caucus, and will also serve on the House Energy Committee.

Before being elected to the PA House in November 2004, Rapp was heavily involved in the health and human services field, serving as a community relations representative with Beverly Health Care, where she managed admissions and marketing for two health care facilities in Warren.

Prior to that, she gained experience in working with students with special needs. She served as a compliance monitor within the Pennsylvania Department of Education to examine special education programs throughout the state and performed work as a consultant with the Parent Education Network.

The 65th Legislative District encompasses Athens, Bloomfield, Cambridge, Cussewago, Richmond, Rockdale, Sparta, Venango and Woodcock townships and Blooming Valley, Cambridge Springs, Centerville, Saegertown, Spartansburg, Venango and Woodcock boroughs in Crawford County and all of Forest and Warren counties.
