City of Denton Weekend Facilities to Reopen Saturday at 10 a.m., Full Operations Resume Monday

DENTON, TX, Jan. 10, 2025 - As weather conditions improve, City facilities that operate over the weekend, including parks and libraries, will reopen with a delayed start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11. Citywide operations are expected to fully resume on Monday, Jan. 13.

While no additional snow or ice accumulation is expected, melted ice may refreeze overnight, creating slick and hazardous road conditions. Therefore, residents are urged to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary through Saturday morning.
