About the Event:
Join us in this fun direct service event that helps those in need in our community!
The hours for this volunteer shift are 8:30 am- 11 am, possibly ending sooner. Volunteer check-in will take place daily at 8:30 am in the parking lot behind our main building and distribution will begin at 9 am. We will be working outside serving boxes of food in a mobile food distribution.
Volunteer roles include collecting data, loading food boxes into cars, and directing traffic. This entire shift takes place outside! We ask volunteers to dress comfortably and for the weather.
Our work is needed now more than ever, and we hope you can join us!
Requirement: Be able to lift 20lbs

This is an opportunity for medical students of UTHSC to obtain volunteer clinic hours in a free primary health care clinic.
Requirements
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we're asking you the following questions:
1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC's risk assessment guidance.
2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. See the CDC's symptom information.
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We're doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
