Lewis and Clark Announces 2026-2027 Scholarship Awards

GODFREY -Demonstrating a commitment to student success, Lewis and Clark Community College and the Lewis and Clark Community College Foundation have awarded nearly $720,000 in scholarships to approximately 212 students for the 2026-2027 academic year.

These driven individuals were selected from a competitive pool of more than 550 applicants, all striving to chart their educational paths.

Designed to elevate students of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and career aspirations, these scholarships ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of academic ambition.

Through the generosity of donors, LC students are backed by a supportive community that believes in their potential and provides the financial stability they need to persist.

"Our students possess the courage to envision a brighter future, and these scholarships provide the steady ground they need to get there," said Emily Nguyen, LC Scholarship Program Coordinator. "By easing financial pressures, our community is standing behind these individuals, ensuring they have the confidence to navigate challenges, overcome the odds, and stay focused on their goals."

Scholarship award amounts vary, with a significant portion covering full tuition and fees-approximately $4,980 annually for a full-time, in-district student.

For those ready to discover their own potential, the online scholarship application opens annually on Oct. 1 for the following academic year, with awards announced each April.
