WeirFoulds is pleased to welcome two new associates to the firm in the following practice areas:

Veronica Cesario - Commercial Litigation

Veronica is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at WeirFoulds with a practice focused on complex commercial litigation and estate litigation matters. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Veronica practiced as a Litigation Associate at a prominent Toronto multi practice firm, where she appeared regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on collection and enforcement matters. Veronica advised both institutional and private lender clients on enforcement strategies, settlement pathways, and risk management.

Catalina Karam - Subrogation & Recovery

Catalina is an Associate in the Subrogation & Recovery Practice Group at WeirFoulds with a practice focused on complex recovery actions and disputes involving regulatory frameworks, environmental issues, liability issues, and public law considerations. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Catalina practiced as Crown Counsel with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where she worked within the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.
