GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. Purpose. This message announces the results of
the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) Commandant's Career-Level Education
Board (CCLEB) that convened on 5 August 2025 as part of the FY26
Commandant's Education Board (CEB). This message includes those
selected to attend Career-Level School (CLS) including Expeditionary
Warfare School (EWS), Air Defense Artillery Captains Career Course
(ADACC), Engineer Captains Career Course (ECCC), Field Artillery
Captains Career Course (FACCC), Logistics Captains Career Course
(LCCC), Maneuver Captains Career Course (MCCC), and Military Police
Captains Career Course (MPCCC).
2. Major milestone timeline for those selected (read in two
columns):
DATE MILESTONE
26 June 2026 EWS registration deadline
21 July 2026 EWS report date
3. Background. The board, composed of five colonels, and sixteen
lieutenant colonels, considered the records of the eligible
population and selected the officers listed below. The small number
of CCLEB assignments available relative to the number of eligible
officers makes selection a highly competitive process.
4. Coordinating Instructions
4.a. Officers listed in paragraph 5 below are hereby considered
primaries for the program/school assigned.
4.b. This MARADMIN serves as notice of orders for the officers
listed in paragraph 5. Service obligations incurred for CCLEB are
in accordance with reference (b).
4.c. Officers not yet career designated will be offered alternate
career designation in accordance with reference (e), upon acceptance
of orders.
4.d. If selected for career designation in prior fiscal years and
declined to accept, selectees may request to revert their career
designation selections to accept through their appropriate PMOS
monitor, NLT 10 days from the release of this MARADMIN.
4.e. Declinations. Only officers whose end of obligated service
(EOS) ends prior to the report date to their specific program may
decline orders. Officers eligible to decline this assignment have
10 days from release of this MARADMIN to decline. Officers who
declined the offer of CD in conjunction with this selection will
execute their current EAS IAW MCO 1001.65A. Officers who elect to
decline their selection are deemed as resigning in lieu of orders.
Officers who resign in lieu of orders will exit the service NLT the
last day of the month they were required to report to their future
unit.
5. Selectees
5.a. All slated officers are listed below with corresponding
assignments. Unless specified otherwise, officers will receive
orders from their Primary Military Occupational Specialty (PMOS)
monitor. Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) Scholars and FY25
deferrals are included in the list of primaries.
5.b. Career-Level School (CLS)
5.b.1. Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS). Marines selected for
EWS are required to register and complete the pre-check-in process
visit https:(slash)(slash)www.usmcu.edu/Students/New-Student-
