2026 Kids Ride Free Program
Sioux City Transit is pleased to announce the 20th annual Kids Ride Free program, offered during the summer months of June, July, and August 2026. This program provides students - defined as youth ages 5 through 18 - with unlimited free rides on Sioux City Transit's Fixed Route System.
Program Hours
- Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
To ride free, students or their parents must show the bus driver a valid Kids Ride Free Pass.

Passes can be picked up at the following sponsor locations:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Transportation Center Dispatch Office - 505 Nebraska Street
- Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center - 550 Expo Center Drive
