Orange County, FL - A committee meeting of the 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee charged with making recommendations for expanding the number of Orange County Commission Districts from six to eight will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the John Bridges Community Center, located at 445 W. 13th Street, Apopka, FL 32703. This is the second of six community meetings scheduled within the districts, offering residents the opportunity to provide input into the redistricting process.

In November 2024, Orange County voters approved a charter amendment to expand the number of commission districts from six to eight. The Orange County Board of County Commissioners is undertaking a redistricting process to establish new district boundaries and incorporate the two additional districts. To support this effort, the Board formed the 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee in January 2025. The committee is responsible for:
