Green Street Temporarily Closed to Through Traffic Beginning April 7
A portion of North Green Street between West Mallory Street and West Lee Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, April 7 while ECUA crews install a new gravity sewer and complete roadway restoration.
Traffic will be detoured along West Lee Street, Hollywood Avenue, and West Mallory Street. Drivers should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 5, weather permitting.
Residents, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.
If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
