Pizzulli Honors the Portsmouth Lady Trojans during House Session
COLUMBUS - State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) presented the Portsmouth Highschool Varsity Girls Basketball Team a resolution in honor of their recent state championship during House session.
The Lady Trojans secured their first ever Division V state championship on March 15th, 2025. This also marks the first state championship win in Scioto County history. Coach Amy Hughes was also recognized as the Division V Coach of the Year.
"The Lady Trojans brought home not just a title, but pride for all of Scioto County," said Pizzulli. "Congratulations to the team and coaching staff for all their hard work!"
