Defendant Convicted of 27 Counts Child Sexual Assault

DATE: July 2, 2026

CASE: Arthuron Warren (Case #23FE016974)

PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Josue Fuentes, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit

On June 23, 2026, Arthuron Warren was convicted by a jury of 27 counts of child sexual assault charges.

Between January 2015 and August of 2020, Arthuron Warren sexually abused two girls beginning when they were ages 6 and 12 years old. He abused one victim weekly and escalated to forced sexual intercourse. The victim did not report the abuse because she was afraid she would not be believed. For three years, Warren sexually abused the second victim, escalating to sexual intercourse and sodomy. The second victim did not report Warren because he threatened to kill her and her family if she reported the abuse. The first victim reported the abuse when she became an adult, which also led to the investigation into the second victim.

Allegations that Warren has two prior strike convictions for residential burglary will be determined at the sentencing hearing.

Warren faces a maximum sentence of 675 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for August 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Department 9A before the Honorable Bunmi Awoniyi.
