Keeping Jobs in the Pittsburgh Area

The economic future of Pittsburgh and our Commonwealth should not be held back by the political rhetoric we have seen far too often by some elected officials. By supporting anti-energy policies, such as the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and needlessly working to block a negotiated deal by U.S. Steel, policymakers have failed to see the potential of strengthening the steel and energy industries here in Pennsylvania. Expanding natural gas and steel production in a responsible manner brings immediate and long-term benefits to our community, including adding or saving thousands of jobs.
