Cranswick Announced As Centre of Excellence Partners at Hull FC

Cranswick is proud to announce a new partnership with Hull FC, becoming the title partner of the club's rugby development and education pathway from 2026.

Hull FC's Centre of Excellence is one of the most comprehensive and inclusive development systems in Rugby League. Supporting more than 250 players across 14 teams, the programme spans academy, scholarship, reserves and development college squads, as well as women's, wheelchair, learning disability and physical disability teams. This breadth makes Hull FC one of the sport's leading clubs in championing opportunity for every kind of player.

Combining high-quality coaching, top-class facilities and tailored education, the Centre of Excellence provides a clear route from grassroots rugby to first-team level. The programme also includes an in-house education pathway delivered through Bishop Burton College, giving young athletes access to academic development alongside their rugby progression.

Hull FC's men's pathway-rated 'Outstanding' by the RFL-has produced several standout talents in recent years, including Harvey Barron, Davy Litten and 2025 Super League Top Try-Scorer Lewis Martin. Looking ahead, the club's 2027 academy group will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime development tour of Australia.

Beyond the men's game, Hull FC continues to set the benchmark for inclusion. Its Learning Disability Rugby League team is the largest in the country, while the club's wheelchair squad, competing in the Wheelchair Super League, is among the fastest-growing sides nationally.

As one of the region's largest employers with deep roots in East Yorkshire, Cranswick has a longstanding commitment to supporting local communities, making this partnership especially meaningful. Many colleagues across the business are devoted Hull FC supporters, reflecting the club's significance to the region and to Cranswick's workforce.

In addition to supporting the Centre of Excellence, Cranswick will also feature on Hull FC's 2026 playing jerseys as associate club partners.

Richard Tate, Hull FC Head of Youth, said:
"We are absolutely delighted to announce our partnership with Cranswick - a proud, local organisation with a long history in this city, much like us as a club. The Centre of Excellence is a key pillar of our organisation, featuring players from diverse backgrounds and placing inclusion at the heart of what we do. Partnering with a company of Cranswick's prominence is a significant moment as our pathways continue to grow and expand."
