Following its win last Sunday, the Bucs are preparing for another exciting playoff at home this weekend. In keeping with tradition, the City of Tampa, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will host a banner drop on Wednesday outside Old City Hall.

Mayor Castor invites the public and members of the media to join the fun, watch, and cheer as esteemed Bucs alumni and executives, including Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford, ride the aerial ladder of a Tampa Fire Rescue fire engine to release the Bucs banner along the side of the Tampa Municipal Office Building. Bucs cheerleaders, the Bucs Street and Promo teams, and pirates will also be in attendance hyping up the crowd of fans.

Throughout the playoff season, Old City Hall and other city structures will be bathed in a radiant red to symbolize the city's unwavering support for its football team.

The banner drop is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the corner of E Jackson St and N Florida Ave in downtown Tampa.
