8 UI online programs earn national rankings

U.S. News & World Report has ranked eight University of Iowa online graduate programs among the best in the country in its new ranking of online programs.
The Iowa programs ranked:
- Best online Master of Business for Veterans, No. 9
- Best online Master of Nursing, administration/leadership: No. 10
- Best online Master of Business Administration, finance: No. 16
- Best online Master of Business Administration for Veterans: No. 12
- Best online Master of Business Administration, business analytics: No. 12
- Best online Master of Science, business analytics: No. 15
- Best online Master of Business Administration: No. 14
- Best online Master of Education: No. 25
The rankings were released Jan. 27.
Programs were ranked based on multiple factors, including faculty credentials and training; services and technology; student excellence; peer assessment; and engagement, defined as a combination of best practices, graduation rate, class size, one-year retention rate, and time to degree deadline.
