Darby International Invests in Comercializadora Ledesma & Ledesma Agrogruled S.A.

WASHINGTON, DC, & BOGOTA, COLOMBIA April 30, 2026 - On April 27, 2026, Darby International Capital LLC ("Darbyl") completed an investment in Comercializadora Ledesma & Ledesma Agrogruled S.A. ("Agrogruled"), an Ecuadorian agro-industrial company specializing in the processing, packaging, distribution, and commercialization of branded and private-label rice and rice-derivative products.

This investment underscores Darby's commitment to supporting growth-oriented companies within stable, high-demand industries. Agrogruled has established a strong market position in Ecuador by providing essential food products that meet consistent daily consumer demand across the country.

The financing provided by Darby is primarily intended to strengthen Agrogruled's balance sheet and provide the necessary working capital to support its ongoing operations. By improving its financial structure via long term debt, Agrogruled will be better positioned to scale its production, improve its reach to retailers and consumers, and solidify its status as a market leader in the Ecuadorian agro-industrial sector.
