LA Sanitation & Environment is rehabilitating portions of the North Outfall Sewer Units 20 and 21 from Zoo Drive Rightof-Way (ROW) from the southeast corner of Griffith Park Ferraro Fields to the northwest corner of Griffith Park Ferraro Fields; Doran Street from West San Fernando Road to the end of the cul de sac (near the LA River); and westbound portions of the I-5 and 134 Ventura Freeways.

This project is necessary in order to protect the reliability of the sewer pipeline system. The project will include cleaning of the sewer pipes and existing siphons, excavation and construction of sewer access pits, replacement/rehabilitation of existing maintenance holes (MH), and rehabilitation or replacement of the sewer pipes and existing siphons.

Mitigation measures will be in place to reduce odors. Improvements to the pipeline will ensure that your sewers are reliable for decades to come. The overall projects dates are Summer 2025 - Summer 2027.
