Employers invited to register for Red River Career Expo

Employers interested in recruiting employees, interns and volunteers are invited to participate in Cameron University's Red River Career Expo. The annual career fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, from 3-6 p.m. in the Aggie Rec Center on CU's Lawton campus. Employers from all career fields are encouraged to register.

A fixture in southwest Oklahoma since 1998, the Expo is part of Cameron's ongoing effort to boost the regional workforce. The event provides participating companies with the opportunity to recruit CU students, community members, military families and more. Prospective employees will be on-site to meet with national, regional and local employers. Employers looking for full-time and part-time employees as well as those offering internships or volunteer opportunities are welcome.

Popular career fields represented in the past include health care, marketing, engineering, information technology, banking, law enforcement, manufacturing, education, sales, social services and cyber security.

Booth space can be reserved by registering at https://www.cameron.edu/RedRiverCareerExpo at a cost of $175. Employers can also register for the networking event Connect on Campus scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, from 1-3 p.m. in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex on the Lawton campus. There is no cost.
