Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I have been at W&L for 9 months.

Q. What is the favorite aspect of your job at W&L?
I'm grateful every day for the team I work with at the Office of Career Strategy, and for the opportunities W&L has given me to grow professionally. In my role, I especially enjoy being a key connector between firm recruiters and our law students, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for both sides throughout the hiring process. It's incredibly rewarding when students return to share that they've landed an internship or job, and equally meaningful when employers offer positive feedback about the impact our students make during interviews. Those moments really highlight the value of the work we do.

Q. If you chose a different path, what other career would you have?
I'd probably be in the marketing world, working for a company or agency.

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Colombia, in a small town called Chinchiná, located in the heart of the coffee region.

Q. What was your favorite subject in school?
In high school, we had a required entrepreneurship class, which focused on developing business ideas, and creating a comprehensive business plan from start to finish.

Q. What three words describe you best?
Positive, disciplined and courageous.

Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people come into a room without greeting or acknowledging others.

Q. What do you like to do away from work?
I love spending quality time with my husband, family and friends. But I also love reading books.

Q. What is your least favorite chore at home?
Cleaning.

Q. What is your favorite family holiday tradition?
My favorite family holiday tradition is Novena de Aguinaldos, a nine-day Columbian celebration leading up to Christmas. Each evening from Dec. 16 to Dec. 24, family and friends gather to say prayers, sing Colombian Christmas carols, and share traditional foods like buñuelos, natilla or empanadas. It's a joyful tradition that brings everyone together, full of music, laughter and the feeling of togetherness that makes the holidays longer and more special.

Q. What is the most adventurous thing that you have ever done?
The most adventurous thing I've ever done was moving to this country as an exchange student. I came to live with an American family I didn't know at all, leaving behind my family, friends and comfort zone. A close second was pursuing a master's degree in a second language. Both experiences were challenging, but incredibly rewarding, and they ultimately opened the door to the life I have now.

Q. What do you pretend to hate but secretly love?
Peanut Butter.

Q. What is your all-time favorite food or food dish?
Any traditional Colombian dish! Bandeja paisa, empanadas, arepas, pandebonos. I could keep going forever.

Q. Where would you choose to build your dream home?
Defnitely in Colombia, up in the mountains, surrounded by nature with a peaceful view.

Q. What is your all-time favorite book?
"The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

Q. If you could choose one series to binge-watch, what would it be?
"Friends."

Q. What is your all-time favorite movie?
My all-time favorite movie is "Begin Again." I'm also a big fan of Christmas movies like "The Holiday" and "Love Actually."
