Motown in Downtown event returns for its fourth year

KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 16, 2025) - The City of Killeen will hold its annual Motown in Downtown event on Saturday, February 22, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. This free event will be in the heart of Historic Downtown Killeen at 200 East Avenue D and offers an evening of music, fun and nostalgia.

Motown in Downtown will feature live entertainment capturing the spirit and energy of the Motown era, along with a classic car showcase and a best-dressed competition where attendees can show off their retro styles. The event also includes a variety of food trucks and vendors, as well as family-friendly activities.

The City of Killeen invites classic car enthusiasts and local vendors to be part of the excitement. Applications to showcase classic cars or become a vendor are open at www.killeentexas.gov/downtownevents and must be submitted by Feb. 5.
