Eastbound Palatine Frontage Road Construction – Expect Delays

The City has been advised that (IDOT) Illinois Department of Transportation is starting a project to repair and resurface the Eastbound Palatine Frontage Road - from Rand Road to Pinecrest Road. The contractor, K-Five Construction, will be starting this week and the completion of the work will take a few months. Drivers should expect delays and possible detours during the next weeks and months. The work will consist of the frontage road being resurfaced, curb and gutter replaced, pedestrian curb ramps (ADA) improvements added, and accessible pedestrian traffic signal improvements.
