Your participation is essential to plan for future flood hazards

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie is hosting a public outreach meeting to solicit feedback from the community for the ongoing Davie Townwide Vulnerability Assessment Study.

We are excited to announce the public outreach meetings on November 17 and 20, 2025, at the Pine Island Multipurpose Center, located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, starting at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings will feature the same informative poster boards and presentation, ensuring consistency and clarity. The Town has strategically selected two separate dates to maximize community engagement and gather valuable input from residents.

The Vulnerability Assessment Study is a vital initiative focused on assessing the potential impacts of flooding on Davie's critical assets and infrastructure. This thorough analysis will provide essential, data-driven insights into the risks associated with flood-related challenges, enabling Davie to take proactive measures for the future. Your involvement is crucial in driving the development of a resilient and secure Davie community. Together, we can ensure that Davie is prepared to face any flood-related climate challenges ahead.

The key agenda Items:

  • Overview of the Vulnerability Assessment process
  • Discussion of local flood hazards and critical assets important to the community
