TN-HHN’s March Learning Collaborative: Obesity and Heart Health Across Tennessee Counties
Join us virtually on Tuesday, March 24th at 12 pm CST!
Epidemiologist Stephen Morabito from the Tennessee Department of Health, Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, presents updated chronic disease maps and figures based on the most recent county and national data from the BRFSS and CDC's PLACES tool. The discussion includes the places and populations most burdened by chronic diseases and associated risk factors (e.g., heart disease mortality, stroke mortality, and obesity prevalence). Through the presentation, Stephen compares the United States and Tennessee trends over time and highlights differences among national, state, and county-level data.
