State Police Arrest Ellenville Man on Assault 2nd charges in the ...

On January 8, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., State Police from the Ellenville barracks arrested Eudomar Demacedo, 31, of Ellenville, NY, following a violent altercation that resulted in serious injuries to a 34-year-old male victim. Demacedo has been charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree (D Felony), Menacing in the 2nd Degree (A Misdemeanor), and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree (A Misdemeanor).

The incident occurred earlier that morning at the victim's residence on Route 209 in Wawarsing, NY. During the altercation, Demacedo struck the victim multiple times with a 2x4. The victim was transported to Ellenville Hospital and later transported by helicopter to Garnet Health Medical Center - Middletown.

After an investigation by SP Ellenville Bureau of Investigation (BCI), Demacedo was arrested on the above charges and arraigned in Ulster County Central Arraignment Part and subsequently remanded to Ulster County Jail, where he will await future proceedings. This investigation remains ongoing.
