Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis’ statement upon arrival at the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council (Vienna, 04.12.2025)

In recent years, Greece has been at the centre of international developments, at the core of the European Union and NATO, playing a decisive role in the revitalization of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and, of course, on the UN Security Council.

In full adherence to International Law and international multilateralism, at the most challenging time of the post-war era, Greece will continue to be a pillar of stability. A pillar that steadfastly maintains that revisionism, in any form, has no place in the modern world. We will continue to insist that International Law must be applied in its entirety, and that aggression must be confronted collectively by all partners of the international community.

Greece is present here today, in Vienna at the OSCE. We will discuss the significant challenges of our time. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe brings together all European states, as well as many other allied countries. It is the appropriate forum for open and sincere dialogue on the issues that trouble our world.
