Seefried Properties Builds Third Build-To-Suit for The Home Depot

Seefried Properties has begun construction on its third build-to-suit for home-improvement giant, The Home Depot in northwest Ohio. The building will be 1,638,348 square feet and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2014.

Seefried worked with Colliers International, which represented The Home Depot, to identify and acquire the site. The land selected for the build-to-suit is a 157-acre site in Wood County, Ohio.

"We appreciate the opportunity to continue our relationship with The Home Depot," said Jim Condon, chief development officer for Seefried Properties. This distribution center is the third Home Depot development for Seefried. Seefried also developed The Home Depot Distribution center in Topeka, Ks., which is a 465,000-square-foot build-to-suit that was completed in September 2010. In August of 2011, Seefried also constructed The Home Depot Distribution Center in Phoenix, Az., which was a 466,700-square-foot build-to-suit.
