Henderson State honors faculty for years of service

Henderson State University recognized faculty members for their years of service to the university during a reception on September 2. New faculty members also were introduced to the campus during the reception.

35 years
• John Long, professor of natural sciences

25 years
• John Miller, instructor of health, and human performance
• Basil Miller, professor of engineering and physics
• Lonnie Jackson, associate professor of management, and program director for Master of Business Administration degree program
• Brett Serviss, professor of natural sciences

20 years
• Paul Glover, professor of digital media production
• John Greene, assistant professor of business
• Patrick Wempe, professor and chair of recreation
• Linda Evans, associate librarian and university archivist

15 years
• Jamie Lipton, professor of low brass
• Tommy Finley, associate professor of natural sciences

10 years
• Eunice Akoto, professor of public management

5 years
• Jonathan Barranco, director of choirs
• Amanda Jones, director of The STEM Center
• Paula Welch, professor of engineering and physics
• Joseph Campbell, assistant professor and chair of counselor education
• Jordan Dennis, chief flight instructor
