The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mexican Navy report that the naval vessels ARM Papaloapan and ARM Huasteco left the port of Veracruz on July 31, on the order of President Sheinbaum, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to deliver relief supplies to Venezuela.
The loading and shipment of the aid were carried out in close collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Mexican Navy, the Ministry of the Interior, the Veracruz National Port System Administration (ASIPONA Veracruz), and various federal authorities.
The ARM Papaloapan is carrying approximately 684 tons of supplies, while the ARM Huasteco is carrying about 34.5 tons, for a combined total of more than 718 tons.
With these actions, the Government of Mexico reaffirms its commitment to solidarity, its spirit of cooperation, and its humanitarian tradition with the peoples of Latin America and the world facing hardship, deepening ties between nations.
