April 8, 2025 - DENTON - U.S. News & World Report has recognized occupational therapy and physical therapy graduate programs at Texas Woman's University as being among the nation's best and tops in Texas.
Occupational therapy ranked No. 1 in Texas, tied for 24th nationally and 15 spots in front of any other Texas program. The physical therapy program ranked No. 2 in Texas, tied for 28th nationally, 14 spots in front of the next Texas program.
The recognition was announced this week in the publication's 2025 "Best Graduate Schools" edition, which offers rankings in a variety of categories. U.S. News considers several factors in its rankings, and all its methodologies incorporate metrics that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research, students and post-graduate outcomes.

Physical therapy ranked in the top 10% of programs in physical therapy across the country and was listed second among 10 programs in Texas.
For its 2025 edition, the publication assessed 282 doctoral and master's programs in occupational therapy and 264 doctoral programs in physical therapy at regionally accredited institutions.
