In response to Donald Trump's Truth Social rampage over the weekend, DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer released the following statement:
"Donald Trump is desperately trying to distract Americans from his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, posting dozens of captionless videos, including a woman tossing a snake and threats to arrest his political opponents. These bizarre posts solidify Trump's chaotic and uncertain first six months in office. Even though Doodle Don wants us to forget about his alarming note to an infamous sex trafficker, the American people are demanding the truth."
Donald Trump is trying to distract the American people from his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, posting dozens of alarming content, including a video of a woman swinging a snake and direct threats to arrest his political opponents.
Politico Playbook: "TRUMP'S CONUNDRUM: Last night, the president posted on Truth Social more than two dozen times.

"He posted a three-minute, captionless video with clips of a bikini-clad woman picking up and tossing a snake; a man somersaulting around a dowel down a stairway; a red Lamborghini careening beneath a truck, Clark Griswold style; a man jumping a fence and coming face to face with a speeding train; a woman break dancing; an optical illusion of a conference room; a billiards trick; a man hacking away at some rock formation; a dirtbiker stunting on a trail; a jet ski; a man ascending an obstacle course with a ladder; a man jump-roping; a man pulling a block from a still-standing massive Jenga tower; a man tossing trash into a dumpster from his balcony; a man doing a flip; a person carrying a heavy object on their shoulders; a man juggling a dropped package of paper towels; and a man doing a skateboard trick.
"But the posts - especially the supercut video - also functioned as a dizzying reminder of Trump's efforts to change the subject from Epstein."

Wall Street Journal: "The letter bearing Trump's name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy-like others in the album. … The letter concludes: 'Happy Birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret.' …
"Epstein's associations with Trump and many powerful people have been well documented. There remain questions about what the FBI possesses about Epstein and his well-connected friends."
POLLING: As Trump scrambles to change the narrative, Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of his handling of the Epstein files.
Rasmussen Poll: "Roughly two-thirds of every political category - 68% of Democrats, 66% of Republicans and 69% of unaffiliated voters - reject the idea that the Epstein case is closed and instead believe that there are dozens of powerful and wealthy offenders who need to face justice."
CNN Poll: "Americans are broadly dissatisfied with how much Epstein info the government has released. …
"Very conservative Republicans and Republican-leaning independents are far more likely to be dissatisfied than are those who consider themselves somewhat conservative (48% vs. 40%)."
Quinnipiac Poll: "17 percent of voters say they approve of the way the Trump Administration is handling the Jeffrey Epstein files, while 63 percent of voters disapprove…"
Reuters: "Most Americans think President Donald Trump's administration is hiding information about accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and give it poor marks on the issue after pledging to make public documents in the case, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found. …
"…69% of respondents thought the federal government was hiding details about Epstein's clients, compared to 6% who disagreed and about one in four who said they weren't sure."
