Cedar Street closed for natural gas line maintenance work

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has closed a section of Cedar Street from Franklin Street to Glenn Street for natural gas line maintenance work. Traffic will be detoured to Franklin Street and Glenn Street while the work is underway.

Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when approaching the work zone, follow directional signs or choose an alternate travel route.

The gas line work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 5 p.m.
