Prof. Knapp Publishes New Textbook Edition with Nursing Alumnae

Rose Knapp, DNP, RN, APN-C, associate professor in the Department of Nursing and MSN program director, recently published the fifth edition of "Hemodynamic Monitoring Made Incredibly Easy" (Wolters Kluwer, 2024). Nursing alumnae Kimberly Reda, '21MSN, APN, adjunct professor of nursing, and Tricia Marceante '12MSN, RN, APN-C, also contributed to the book.

The textbook explores the fundamentals of hemodynamic nursing skills including the structures and functions of pulmonary and cardiac systems. The reference, which illustrates monitoring concepts and processes, aims to educate nursing students, new nurses, and nurses returning to critical care.

Marceante contributed to chapter one, "Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology," and Reda contributed to chapter five, "Central Venous Pressure Monitoring."
