City of Irvine to Celebrate the Grand Opening of Katie Wheeler Library March 7

The community is invited to celebrate a new chapter at the grand opening of the Katie Wheeler Library Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. This special event marks an exciting milestone for the Irvine Public Library, welcoming residents to experience refreshed spaces designed to inspire connection, learning, and creativity.

The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, classic lawn games, hands-on activities for all ages, and live music from a barbershop quartet. Guests will have the opportunity to explore newly updated areas, meet library staff, and discover programs and resources available for children, teens, and adults.
