In 1920 local real estate investor, Frank Buckwalter, established a new, exclusive residential neighborhood near the Sioux City Country Club called Country Club Place. The district proved quite popular, and soon many of the city's wealthiest residents began building homes there. Presenter Tom Munson will explore the history of the neighborhood, its residents, and its unique architecture at History at High Noon: The Country Club Neighborhood, on Thursday, December 18 beginning at 12:05 p.m.
