New Additions to City’s Public Art Initiative

If you've driven around League City, then you've likely seen one or more of the three dozen traffic signal boxes that are decorated with mini murals. The murals are designed and painted by local artists who are hand-picked by the Keep League City Beautiful Committee-a group of League City residents who advise staff on the City's Public Art Initiative.

Recently, four more murals have been added to the collection, and a fifth is on its way at the intersection of League City Parkway and Lawrence Road. The four completed murals are located on traffic signal boxes along Walker Street at the intersections of Kessler's Crossing, Victory Lakes Drive, Town Center Drive, and FM 646. Check out the pictures below of the newly completed boxes and visit our interactive map showcasing all the mini murals around town.
