Reminder: scam prevention seminars tomorrow in Monmouth and Alexis

Tomorrow morning I am hosting a pair of seminars on how to avoid being scammed. These events are in cooperation with the Illinois Attorney General's office, local law enforcement, Midwest Bank, Farmers State Bank of Western Illinois and WRAM radio. Stop by and find out how to spot a scam and what you can do if you or a loved one is being scammed.
The first meeting will be at the Warren County History Museum, 238 S. Sunny Lane, in Monmouth from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
A second seminar will be at the Alexis Community Center, 205 W. Palmer Avenue in Alexis from 11 a.m. until noon.
The events are free and open to the public.
