MAHOMET, Ill., Nov. 11, 2025 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a brand-new Starbucks property in Mahomet, Illinois, for $2,506,000.
"The buyer was drawn to the long-term stability of the asset and acquired the property as part of a 1031 exchange," said Sam Malato, director investments. Malato and Dominic Sulo, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, an Illinois-based merchant developer.

It sits on 0.6 acres off Interstate 74, just outside Champaign-Urbana, home to the University of Illinois.
