02 June 2026On 2 June 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with the Minister of Foreign Economic Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Yun Jong Ho, as part of a working visit by the Korean delegation to our country.
The parties exchanged views on ways to intensify bilateral cooperation in accordance with the guidelines set out following the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, to the DPRK in March 2026. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food security and healthcare.
The sides noted their mutual interest in transforming high-level political contacts into new promising projects in the economic sphere.
The parties agreed to expedite preparations for the fourth meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the DPRK in Minsk.
