Worth and Dougherty counties...
SR 133 traffic shift scheduled for continued road construction
What: A Georgia Department of Transportation contractor has scheduled a traffic shift on State Route (133) next week that will affect traffic in Worth and Dougherty counties. Traffic will move from the southbound lanes to newly-constructed northbound lanes around the area of Groveland Drive in Worth County. Due to the new alignment, stop conditions will change at the intersection of SR 133 and County Line Road. The stop signs that have been covered will be active and drivers should be prepared to stop. Traffic will shift back around Gibson Road in Dougherty County. The lane shift is to allow for the continued reconstruction/widening of SR 133. Please slow down in the work zone and remain alert for signs directing traffic flow.

Where: The traffic shift starts on SR 133 near the intersection of Groveland Drive in Worth County and ends near the intersection of Gibson Road in Dougherty County.

When: Scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30.
