Stevenson University is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Chrzan, Senior Vice President of Blue & Obrecht Realty, LLC, to the university's Board of Trustees. Chrzan was elected to a three-year term on the Board as of November 18, 2025. She previously served as a member of Stevenson's President's Advisory Council from June 2023 to November 2025.
Gail Chrzan has had a long and successful career in real estate. In 2018, she was named Real Estate Broker of the Year by the Maryland chapter of the NAIOP. Prior to her current role at Blue & Obrecht Realty, Chrzan served as a vice president at the global commercial real estate service company CBRE for more than 32 years. She earned her master's degree in Administrative Services from Johns Hopkins University and her bachelor's in Public Administration from American University.
To help develop the next generation of real estate leaders, she endowed the Chrzan Real Estate Annual Scholarship. The scholarship provides financial support to a student pursuing a Professional Minor in Real Estate at Stevenson. In addition to her work with Stevenson, Chrzan has served on the Board of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2004 and sponsors the STEAM Program field trips for the Sherman Center Partnership at Lakeland Elementary and Middle School in Baltimore City.
"We are proud to welcome Gail to Stevenson's Board of Trustees," said Elliot Hirshman, Ph.D., President of Stevenson University. "Gail's expertise in commercial property and real estate-as well as her commitment to student success and career development-have been invaluable as we developed our Professional Minor in Real Estate. I know her insights and ideas as a Trustee will continue to benefit and strengthen Stevenson in the years to come."
