Annual Report: 2025-2026

Empowering Ohioans: Our Commitment to Disability Inclusion

From the moment Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed Executive Order 2019-03D establishing Ohio as a Disability Inclusion State and Model Employer, he set a standard that continues to guide every part of our work at OOD. This year's annual report shows just how far we've come together. We saw unprecedented growth in the number of individuals seeking services through OODWorks.com, and more than 46,000 Ohioans-including a record number of young people-received Vocational Rehabilitation support. Outcomes are stronger than ever, with increases in skills development, credentials, and wages across the state. Accessible Ohio continues to expand, helping hundreds of organizations make their services and spaces more inclusive of people with disabilities. And our Division of Disability Determination exceeded federal workload targets while serving more than 151,000 Ohioans.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our staff, our partners, and the Ohioans with disabilities we serve-and they are made possible through the leadership and support of Governor DeWine, Lt. Governor Tressel, and the General Assembly. I encourage you to explore the report to see the impact of this work and the momentum ahead as we continue building a more accessible, disability-inclusive Ohio for everyone.
