The Massachusetts Permanent Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities presented the 2024 National Disability Employment Award for Small- to Mid-Size Companies to FHLBank Boston at a celebration at the Massachusetts State House on October 23, 2024.

The event brought together employees with disabilities, policymakers, employers, legislators, and other stakeholders of the disability community. A fireside chat featured hiring managers and employees with disabilities discussing their experiences, best practices, and strategies for fostering inclusive workplaces.

"This recognition serves as an important milestone that helps confirm that progress has been made. At the same time, we recognize more work is needed to continue to improve inclusivity in our workplace."
