Dewey Beach Fire


The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a single-family residential structure fire that was reported on October 13, 2025 shortly after 3:00 AM in the unit block of Carolina Street Dewey Beach, Delaware.

The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and assisting mutual aid fire companies arrived on scene and found a single-family dwelling heavily involved in fire. The structure was not occupied at the time of the fire. The fire caused exposure fire damage to neighboring properties.

Delaware Deputy State Fire Marshals responded to the scene and conducted an origin and cause investigation. The fire currently remains under investigation. Damage was estimated at $1000000. Three Firefighters were transported and then treated and released for minor injuries that occurred on scene
