Shannon Slocum, FNP-C, Joins Munson Healthcare OMH Medical Group – Indian River

Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome Shannon Slocum, FNP-C to the OMH Medical Group - Indian River team.

Shannon was inspired to pursue a career in family medicine after working closely with a physician who exemplified compassionate, patient-centered care. She furthered her education, motivated to have a similar impact and empower patients to take charge of their health and well-being. She earned her graduate degree from Spring Arbor University.

"I am deeply committed to advocating for my patients and helping them access the care and support they need and deserve," she says.

Shannon especially enjoys evaluating complex symptoms and working through testing to reach an accurate diagnosis. She has a special interest in autoimmune conditions, thyroid disorders, diabetes, and mental health.
