On 27 April 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, Yury Seliverstov, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Galuzin.

The parties discussed topical issues on the Belarusian-Russian agenda, including cooperation within the Union State and the schedule of upcoming high- and highest-level events.

The sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing close and constructive cooperation in the spirit of alliance and friendship that binds our countries.
