Chinese Consul General in Auckland Chen Shijie Attends Nepal Festival 2026
On 11 April, Consul General Chen Shijie attended, upon invitation, the Nepal Festival 2026 hosted by the New Zealand Nepal Society. The event was attended by New Zealand Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage Paul Goldsmith, Labour Party leader Chris Hipkins, several Members of Parliament, representatives of the consular corps in Auckland, as well as hundreds of local residents.
During the event, Mr Chen had friendly conversations with Honorary Consul of Nepal in Auckland Mr Dinesh Khadka and President of New Zealand Nepal Society Dr Roshan Khadka. Mr Chen extended festive greetings to them. They expressed their appreciation for Mr Chen's attendance and conveyed their expectation to further exchanges and interactions in the future.
