Telephone conversation with President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa
The leaders discussed further development of the mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economy as well as investment within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and South Africa.
The situation surrounding Ukraine was also on the agenda. Cyril Ramaphosa Ramaphosa CyrilPresident of the Republic of South Africa expressed support for Russia's efforts aimed at resolving the conflict via political and diplomatic means.
As they exchanged views on current international matters, the leaders acknowledged the importance of continuing to align policies between the two countries, including within G20 as well as BRICS.
